We got up late this morning thinking that some of the bad weathr would have gone by. We traveled in heavy clouds and threatening skies. We got all the way thru Amerillo Texas and then it started to celar. Unfortunately when the skies clear the wind comes up. The wind we found out was picking up because there were tornados moving into Oklahoma and Texas right behind us. We were glad that we were out of the way of them. We made it as far as Tucumcari, NM and stayed for the night.
