May 13th - Grand Canyon
The birds that you see are the protected California Condor. They were right beside us. They landed and took off twice in the time we were there. It was great! We spent two wonderful days at the Canyon and enjoyed every moment of it.

May 12th - Driving to the Grand Canyon
Notice the snow on the mountains leading up to the Grand Canyon. This is the San Francisco Peaks. When we were at the Painted Desert we could see the peaks -- it was about 170 miles away. The trip to the Canyon was pretty much a desolate road until you got up to the Canyon!
May 11th -- Oil Change & Goodbye's
Time to get an oil change on the camper. We did that in the morning and visited with Tom and Deb while we waited for Mary and Linda to get back from a doctor's appointment. Everything fine but they were both tired from a long trek to the Dr. We had fun having some one on one with Tom and Deb and they are really great people. They and Linda keep a good eye on my Mom's best friend Mary. Tomorrow we are off and we had to say goodbye's but it was a good visit with everyone.
May 10th -- Quick Visit to Grand Canyon Railway
Today we took a trip up Route 89 up to Route 40 so we could check out the route we would be traveling with the motorhome. It was quite the railway.
May 9 th Mother's Day Celebration with Friends
Today we spent the late afternoon and evening to celbrate Mother's Day and a couple of birthday's.
