Last Day of Work!

Hello All -

Today will be my last day of contractor work and I will really become retired!

We are preparing the motor home and us, to depart right around Easter!

Hope to see some messages from all our friends.

January 8th - Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was our next day's stop and we were really excited.  It was a wonderful day.  I've included pictures below of the Safari Ride and lots and lots of animals that we saw through out the day.

Janauary 7th - Hotel Pictures

We stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort - a great place to stay!  Here are a couple of photos of our room and surrounding area.

had a really great time.

January 7th off to Epcot on Arrival

You'll probably all recognize the "World" from Epcot that was where Ed and I spent our first evening. 

First Trip of 2009

We're getting ready for our first trip of 2009.  We're headed for Disney World in Florida and we're cheating because we're flying!  Since we drove to Florida in October of 2008 and we were sick we decided that we did not get to see enough of Disney in the two days that we got at the parks and we decided to go back but did not want to drive the distance this time (in the snow).  We'll start out with the motor home later in the year.

Test Posting

Today is my first try at posting to a blog -- so I've become a blogger! I wanted to start this so that as the McDowells Will Travel I will be able to post pictures to our blog and keep everyone updated as to where we are and what we've been up to!

So today is a test.

Since it's snowing out I thought I'd add a wonderful flower for fun.
