May 4th -- Petrified Forest

May 4 - Petrified Logs

May 4th - Petrified Forest continued

May 4th Petrified Forest

The petrified logs are amazing. They look like they are filled with quartz. The Changing World poster that I've posted is quite an interesting way to look at preserving the natural resources. They will no longer be putting in extra supports to hold things from falling - they are letting nature take it's course.

May 4th -- Painted Murals and Ed with Raven

One of the things Ed is loving about this trip is being able to stop and take our time and see all of the sites and not running thru them so fast you don't enjoy it. We're just so happy to have the time to do this. The Raven was following Ed around. The Painted Murals in this group have been in the Pueblo for many, many years.
